Distinctive hand painted decorative plates suitable for wall hanging by SC Castelli. The plates are vividly painted, measure 7.75" in diameter, and the back of the plates have holes for attaching wire or string for hanging. The outlines of the flowers are etched into the clay and the etching grooves can be felt with a finger. The floral paint is think adding to the hand painted appearance.
The plates are in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or crazing. There are a slight imperfections that I believe have been present since the manufacturing process which involved significant handcrafting. I have pointed out examples of these imperfections in the last 2 photos. Please view the photos as they are part of the description.
