This pair of vintage 1960s Vendôme beaded cluster earrings features black-painted beads and faceted clear crystal beads with an iridescent coating. The beads are hand-wired to a gold-plated pierced metal backing panel. The earrings secure with a clip that includes a screw mechanism for fine adjustment, ensuring a comfortable fit. Despite their moderate size, they are lightweight on the ears.
Each clip arm is stamped 'Vendôme,' a high-end label by Coro created in the 1940s. Vendôme was Coro's most premium collection, designed to emulate French fashions and marketed to elite women. Known for using the best materials and hand-assembled components, Vendôme ceased operations in 1979.
